Addles has been drooling a lot, fussy, stuffing her fists in her mouth and wanting to nurse very frequently. I suspect teething, so I put on her amber necklace today.

Addles and I had a few appointments today at the hospital. First a sleep consult for Mommy and a lab, then our weekly counseling appointment.

Addles did fairly well, nursed at the sleep consult and fell asleep for a few minutes. The ladies in the waiting room at the lab loved Addles and told her she was beautiful. Addles said thank you by flashing her cute baby smile.

We had a fairly low key counseling appointment. Learned that they need one more person interested to start another Centering Babies group. I'm hoping that Amy and Josephine will be interested.

As we got off the elevator in the lobby another little old lady exclaimed how beautiful Addles was and said she looked just like Mommy. She told her husband she wanted to take Addles home.

On the way home from the hospital we stopped to get gas using Daddy's credit card. I could see the guy at Sunoco look at the card and look at me, saying, "she doesn't look like a John." I was afraid he might say something, but he didn't.

Addles fell asleep on the way home. I I didn't want to wake her, and it was warm out, so I left her sleeping in her carseat while I ran inside and made some lunch and ate it while I watched her sleep through the door. When I saw her moving I went out to get her. It felt good to be able to have lunch without a screaming baby.

We took a nap from 2-5. even though she was tired, she had a hard time falling asleep and nursed forever before knocking out. i think i was more tired than she was. Addles woke up and nursed in bed. I love laying with her and having the time to nurse leisurely. I love how she holds my boobies with her tiny little hands as she plunges her face in for milk. She was in good spirits as I changed her diaper, and played happily under the sea watching Finding Nemo while I made myself a salad for supper.

I'm feeling overwhelmed by everything that is happening. My health insurance only goes until the end of the month, so I'm rushing to get everything taken care of now. It looks like I'm having a sleep study done on the 19th, then I have to have surgery on the 21st.
